"COLOURS" (COLlaborative innOvative sUstainable Regional univerSities) is an association of 9 European universities in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Croatia, Sweden, North Macedonia, Poland, and Latvia. As one of 50 "European Universities" across Europe, COLOURS is funded by the EU Commission within the framework of the "European University Initiative". Paderborn University is responsible for the Alliance's project coordination.

In order to support the COLOURS Coordination & Support Office (CSO) at Paderborn University, the International Relations Office is seeking to fill a position for a

 

Member of Staff in the COLOURS Coordination & Support Office (f/m/d)

(salary class 11 TV-L)

 

starting at the earliest possible date. This is a temporary position until 31 December 2027 with 100 % of regular working hours. The limited time period of employment corresponds to the project’s funding period.

 

Your responsibilities:

•      Supporting the overall coordination of COLOURS and its associated boards, incl. planning and realisation of events and partner meetings (concept, content, administration)

•      Assisting the CSO Managing Director in day-to-day operations (meeting coordination, agenda inputs, briefings, administrative processes)

•      Supporting the implementation of CSO operating standards (action/decision tracking, and documentation for reporting cycles)

•      Preparing and reviewing meetings of the COLOURS board held in English, including organising and preparing presentations and taking minutes

•      Communication with the partner universities and associated partners, mainly in English, incl. surveys (setup, scheduling, analysis)

•      Support in the development of the CSO's quality management processes and budget management

•      Communication with internal and external (international) guests

•      Willingness to undertake project-related business trips within the EU

 

Your Profile:

•      Completed scientific university degree (bachelor level)

•      Proficiency in MS Office and video conference tools as well as IT affinity with regard to other software programs (e.g., Typo3, MACH AG databases, etc.) Proficiency in written and spoken German and English

•      Knowledge in the area of budget management is an asset

•      Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for dealing with the public and international partners

•      Ideally, professional experience in administration at a university or other academic institution

•      Strong organisational skills and a structured working style
